Mieke Dijkstra

At the moment Mieke is ensemble en Us of the part Rose in the show Aspects of Love, produced by Stage Entertainment.

Mieke graduated in 2003 in Performing Arts from the Fontys Dansacademie in Tilburg, The Netherlands, after which she made her professional debut in the musical industry performing as Ensemble and Swing in 'Copacabana', directed and choreographed by Craig R. Horwood, produced by Melody Musicals and
Joop van den Ende Theater Produkties.

Between 2003 and 2004, Mieke was on tour around The Netherlands with 'Jeans 13 - Lucky Numbers', in which she performed as a Solo Singer, directed by Bert Stoots and choreographed by Melisse de Winter. Mieke was still part of the cast of the following season of Jeans as a Solo Singer and Dance-Captain in 'Jeans 14 - More Music '(04/05)
As from 2005 and until 2006, Mieke performed as Ensemble and Understudy 'Nicky' in Sweet Charity directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood (Mark Vijn Theater Produkties).

In 2006/2007, Mieke has been performing the role of 'Svetlana' in the musical 'Chess', directed by Marcel Sijm and choreographed by Michael Diederich. For this perfomance Mieke was Nominated for a 'Nashuatec Musical Award' for 'Up and Coming Talent'.

In 2007/2008 Mieke was to be seen in the musical 'De Fabeltjeskrant' for which Mieke was nominated for a 'Johnny Kraaijkamp Musical Award' in the category 'Best Actress in a Small Musical'.
In 2009 Mieke was playing the part of 'Clementine' and 'Marietje' in the Dutch musical Op hoop van zegen.
In 2009 Mieke was Playing in 'Joseph and the amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' as ensemble and cover 'Nariator'.
In the season of 2010/2011 Mieke was to be seen en heard as Solo singer in A Tribute to Michael Jackson. At the moment Mieke is ensemble en Us of the part Rose in the show Aspects of Love, produced by Stage Entertainment.
